Asawin Grand Convention Hotel

The Asawin Grand Convention Hotel is comprised of 3 Miracle buildings for residential spaces and convention rooms.

Xypex Thailand was chosen to provide waterproofing solutions to the basement to provide protection from the underground water pressure, along with the water tanks, wastewater treatment tanks and roof slabs.

Xypex Thailand’s technical based solution also provided a guarantee against carbonation attack from the vehicle exhaust fumes in the basement car park, and protection from aggressive chemicals found in the wastewater tanks.

A construction joint system was also installed using 3,400 meters of Superswell 47b and sealed with our Concentrate product.

Since Xypex Concentrate products are GreenTag certified and meet Australian Standards – AS/NZS 4020:2005A for the use and application to potable water tanks, we were able to ensure the safety of drinking water supplies.

As the project progresses to new phases, Xypex Thailand has again been appointed to provide the waterproofing systems for the final phase of the hotel construction.
