Bumrungrad International Hospital

In the centre of Bangkok, a new eight-storey car park building was built for the Bumrungrad International Hospital. The main contractor and project consultant entrusted Xypex Thailand to work with them on this project, in order to be able to meet the zero leaks requirement of the Asset owner.

Xypex Admix C-1000 NF was specified, and more than 1.1 tonnes of our product was added to the concrete mix at the time of batching before being placed on the roof deck of new car park building. This method ensures the Xypex Crystalline technology benefits become an integral part of the whole substrate. Additionally, the admixture waterproofing system saved construction time, since no additional workers, coatings, or application time was needed.

Through the use of Xypex systems, the concrete structure of the roof was fully protected from water ingress, thus managing to extend its long-term service life and durability.
