Miami Serviced Apartments
The Miami Hotel group added this low-rise (7-storey, single basement) serviced apartment building to its inventory of property, which was completed in early 2018.
Low cost and short down-time maintenance were key targets for the project designers. Xypex was specified across a broad range of the buildings structures to meet these needs. Our performance-based solutions were utilised in water tanks (potable and waste), the second-floor swimming pool, roof decks, balconies and bathrooms.
After installing 400m of construction joint systems (Superswell 47b), repairing concrete construction defects (Xypex Patch and Plug and Megamix II – 900kg in total), Xypex Concentrate was applied over 1000m2 of the structure to provide the waterproofing, chemical resistance, durability and long-service life the designers had specified.
