N Health Hat Yai Hospital Car Park

Part of the Krung Thep Hospital Group, the car park of this hospital had developed a serious leak problem due to developing cracks in the concrete. Concerns over reinforcement corrosion, carbonation and durability, prompted major repair works to extend the service life of the building and reduce any maintenance costs in the future.

Having successfully completed projects with the Client in the past, Xypex Thailand systems were employed in the basement and slab walls of the structures. To remediate the cracks present in the concrete, Xypex Megamix II was applied along with Xypex Patch’n Plug to stop the active water leaks. The whole area was then coated in Xypex Concentrate to provide waterproofing to the substrate and to allow the matrix to be protected against further deterioration and reduce corrosion problems, by re-alkalising the matrix.
