Phoenix Medical Centre

Xypex Thailand was selected to install a waterproofing system in 4 buildings of the Phoenix Medical Centre, totalling over 25,000m². Xypex’s highly efficient Xypex Concentrate coating system was chosen to treat the large basement areas to provide waterproofing along with the added benefit of protection from sulphate attack, which can be common in the harsh Bangkok subsoil environments. Xypex Concentrate was also chosen to protect the water tanks. An added benefit of this protection system is the products certification to Australian Standard AS/NZS 4020 and American Standard NSF61, which confirms the system as safe for use with potable water.

Xypex Thailand also worked alongside a major concrete supplier to install Xypex Admix C-1000 NF in the roof decks. Construction joint waterproofing systems were also installed, sealing over 3,500 metres of joints, using our Superswell 47B system.
