The Dhammakaya Foundation Medical Centre

This six-story medical facility at The Dhammakaya Temple Complex serves as a hospital and sanatorium to provide medical treatments to the sick monks at the Temple.

A key requirement for this project was to achieve a durable, low maintenance structure to reduce any disruption to the patients during recuperation periods. To meet this requirement, Xypex Thailand specified that the structure would best benefit by becoming a watertight and waterproof structure. Xypex Admix C-1000 NF along with Xypex Concentrate were specified by Xypex Thailand to achieve the best outcomes and provide the durability that the Client required. The roof slabs, water tanks, wastewater treatment tanka, lift pits, balconies and bathrooms were all treated with Xypex’s Crystalline Technology, which also enhances the sustainability of the building by becoming an integral part of the structure.
